What we make
Get Waisted is HMPA water: drinking water with HMPA, a nearly tasteless compound from fermented rice bran that is studied for its effect on visceral fat. It comes in a 330 mL aluminium can, and every can carries a QR code that opens the lab report for its batch. What is HMPA?
Why we exist
Most functional drinks ask you to trust a label. We'd rather show our work. The idea is simple: test every batch, publish the report, and link the research behind the ingredient so you can judge it yourself.
How we write about science
- Primary sources first. We link the paper, not a blog about the paper.
- Every number is labelled. Peer-reviewed or company-reported, in humans or in mice.
- Nothing on the can that a study can't back. We don't make weight-loss claims.
- Dated and reviewed. Every guide shows when it was last checked, and we review the research quarterly.
- Corrections are public. If we get something wrong, we fix the page and note the change.
What's still being decided
- Batch 001 is in lab testing. The lab report on the home page is a sample until it passes.
- Lab partner: being finalised; we're looking for an accredited lab.
- Regulatory: new ingredients in India go through FSSAI's approval process. We'll publish our status here before launch.
- Price and stockists: not set yet. Join the list to hear first.
